面条 Chinese Noodle Dishes - More Than 350













































































China has, traditionally, more than 350 noodle dishes in type, called 面条 mian1 tiao2. Today I believe it might be more than 400 or even 500+. Chinese noodle dishes normally adopt two major food materials - wheat and rice - to create noodles, in different shapes and lengths. I am a typical noodle lover since maybe I was born. I especially enjoy noodle soup, or any type of soup. China is an originator and inventor for noodles many many years ago, which has strong influence to other countries, particularly in Asian countries around China (e.g. Japanese noodles. Udon is renovated from 中国面条). Unfortunately there were no "IP" legal regulations back then, otherwise China could be "fat" in pocket then for claims of "intellectual property" infringement - a friendly joke.
