Chinese "Dim Sum" 点心 and 饮茶 "Yum Cha" culture. 点心, Dim Sum or dian3 xin1, Cantonese pronunciation as former, Mandarin's as later; and 饮茶 Yum Cha or yin3 cha2, Cantonese pronunciation as former and Mandarin's as later, literally "drink tea" but actually including breakfast mainly formed by Chinese cakes/cookies/pastes like these pictures showed here. Some 点心 in these picture are not all Cantonese', but from Xian 西安 of 陕西 Shannxi province which is the northwestern region, some from 上海 Shanghai of the east. And 广东 Cantonese' are definitely from the straight south. From this point, you can tell how rich the Chinese cuisine is throughout the country.
