蒸包子, 小笼包子, 锅贴包子 Chinese Buns



































































Chinese steamed buns include steamed stuffed bun 蒸包子 zheng1 bao1 zi3, small bamboo basket steamed bun 小笼包 xiao3 long2 bao1, and pot-sticking stuffed bun 锅贴包 guo1 tie1 bao1 etc. by so many types. The fillings of the buns are normally pork with different types of vegetables, or only vegetables, or seafood, beef, eggs and others. Chinese people love buns very much - I am one of them - and we usually eat 蒸包子 in breakfast. Today the customs have been changed, people eat everything without certain concerns of traditional meal time. Pictures showed here are mostly 蒸包子 and 小笼包. Can you distinguish which one is 小笼包 or 蒸包子?
